Parker IPA

The Intelligent Parker Amplifier or IPA, is a 1.5 axis servo drive/controller based on the ACR control platform. Available in two power levels, 400W and 1500W, the IPA can drive a wide range of rotary and linear motors and supports a number of industry standard feedback protocols. The IPA provides a dual port Ethernet interface which gives the machine builder the flexibility needed to create cost effective motion control solutions.

Copley Xenus Panel

Xenus combines CANopen networking with 100% digital control of brushless or brush motors in an off-line powered package that can operate from single or three-phase mains with continuous power output to 4 kW. Standard models use quad A/B digital encoders for feedback. Two other versions are available for use with resolvers or sin/cos analog encoders.

Xenus Micro is a compact, AC powered servo drive for position, velocity, and torque control of AC brushless and DC brush motors. It operates on a distributed control network, as a stand-alone indexing drive, or with external motion controllers.

Copley Xenus Plus Panel

Xenus Plus sets new levels of performance, connectivity and flexibility. Both Ethernet based EtherCAT and CANopen versions are available. A wide range of absolute encoder interfaces are built in including EnDat, Hiperface and BiSS.

High resolution A/D converters ensure optimal current loop performance. Both isolated and high-speed non-isolated I/O are provided. For safety critical applications, redundant power stage enable inputs can be employed.

The SPiiPlusCMHP/BA is a state of the art series of EtherCAT motion controllers with three built-in universal drives. It addresses the needs of modern machinery for both economical and for high performance, scalable and distributed control for motion centric applications. Its open architecture operates in conjunction with ACS’ line of EtherCAT servo and step motor drives and I/Os modules, as well as with any certified EtherCAT module that complies with Can over EtherCAT (CoE) protocol, providing a comprehensive and cost effective control solution for demanding machinery. The SPiiPlusCMhp/ba controls and generates the motion profile for up to 32 axes.

The SPiiPlusCMHP addresses high accuracy demanding applications, while the SPiiPlusCMBA econo version addresses more price sensitive applications. The SPiiPlusCMHP/BA are complemented by the SPiiPlus NT suite of software tools with built-in simulator that minimizes development effort and time to market. It provides extraordinarily easy setup, fast host and embedded application development, and quick diagnostics, reducing efforts and costs. The built-in drives are offered with three current levels: 5/10A, 10/20A and 15/30A ((cont./peak). The modules are powered by a single or three-phase AC from 24 to 265Vac (rectified internally to generate a Vac x 1.4 motor voltage) and by a separate 24Vdc control supply that keeps all low voltage signals alive during emergency conditions. It supports a wide range of position feedback devices: incremental digital, analog SIN-COS, and absolute encoders. The modules are optionally available with built-in additional 4-axis control of drives with Pulse/Dir interface. The series are a plug-in replacement to the series of SPiiPlusCM control modules with identical dimensions and pin-to-pin connectivity.

Copley Accelnet Panel (20-180VDC) Digital Servo Drive

Accelnet is a high-performance, DC powered drive for position, velocity (using encoder, resolver, Halls, or BEMF), and torque control of brushless and brush motors. It can operate as a distributed drive using the CANopen or DeviceNet protocols, or as a stand-alone drive accepting analog or digital commands from an external motion controller. In stand-alone mode, current and velocity modes accept digital 50% PWM or PWM/polarity inputs as well as ±10V analog. In position mode inputs can be incremental position commands from step-motor controllers, analog ±10V, or A/B quadrature commands from a master-encoder. Pulse to position ratio is programmable for electronic gearing.
