ACS SPiiPlus UDMsd

EtherCAT® Dual/Quad Axis Drive Module
The UDMSD is a series of compact EtherCAT modules with dual/quad-axis universal drives for servo, step, and voice coil motors with a continuous power range of 10W to 100W (200W peak). The type of motor is selected by the user and can be set differently for each drive. The UDMSD addresses the needs of demanding multi-axis motion applications with limited space, such as moving inspection heads, small manipulators, and table-top motion stages. The small size, low weight, and minimal cable interface makes the UDMSD ideal for mounting remotely on moving axes. It is available with currents of 1.25/2.5A and 2.5/5A (cont./peak). The UDMSD supports four digital incremental and two absolute encoders. It includes a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) to support other feedback devices, such as autofocus signals. The unit is powered by a 12 to 48Vdc drive supply voltage and by a separate 24Vdc ±20% control supply that keeps all logic signals alive during emergency conditions. All connectors of the motors, the encoders and the I/Os are sub-D type connectors. The UDMSD is panel or din rail mountable. The unit is supplied with the drive and control connectors. |

ACS SPiiPlus UDMmc

EtherCAT ® Drive Module, Unique, Compact, Cost Effective
The UDMMC is a line of compact EtherCAT modules of two and four universal drives with rating of 12 to 80Vdc and 2.5A (5A peak) to 20A (40A peak) per drive. Each drive is programmable to control a 3 & 2 phase servo motor, a DC brush motor, a voice coil motor and a 2 & 3 phase step motor. The UDMMC addresses the needs of demanding multi-axis motion applications with limited space, such as waferhandling robots, wire bonders, die bonders, electronics packaging, small manipulators, and table-top motion stages. With the optional powerful ServoBoostTM algorithm (ordered with the controller), demanding positioning systems can achieve ultimate performance levels, such as speeds of meters per seconds and Nanometers of jitter, minimal settling time, and uncompromising system robustness with minimal sensitivity to disturbances and changes. Optional Safe Torque Off (STO) cuts the power to the motor without removal of the power source for applications that are required to comply with SIL-3 and PLe safety levels. The UDMMC is a slave that runs under any ACS’ EtherCAT masters. The 4-axis UDMMC can be ordered with mixed current specifications. See Ordering Options. The UDMLC is a series of small footprint EtherCAT modules with dual/ quad-axis universal drives for servo, stepper, and voice coil motors with a power range of 10W to 200W. The type of motor is selected by the user and can be set differently for each drive. This product addresses the needs of demanding multi-axis motion applications with limited space, such as moving inspection heads, small manipulators, and table-top motion stages. The miniature size, low weight, and minimal cable interface makes the SPiiPlusUDMLC ideal for mounting remotely on moving axes. It is available in three current levels (cont./peak per axis): 1.25/2.5A, 2.5/5A or 5/10A (dual axis version only), and has inputs for four digital incremental and two absolute encoders. The unit is powered by a 12 to 48Vdc motor bus voltage supply and by a separate 15 to 48Vdc control supply that keeps all logic signals alive during emergency conditions. The UDMLC is panel or din rail mountable.

ACS SPiiPlus UDMpm

The SPiiPlus UDMpm-2-320 is a line of EtherCAT universal dual and single axis drives for AC servo / DC Brushless, AC Induction, and DC brush motors. The SPiiPlus UDMpm-2-320 operates as an EtherCAT node under any SPiiPlus EtherCAT master Controller including the PC based SPiiPlusSC Soft Controller. It is designed to address high performance applications with demanding move & settle, smooth velocity and stand still jitter requirements with power of up to 1.6kW/3.2kW (continuos/peak) per axis.

Copley Xenus Panel (120-240VAC) Digital Servo Drive

Xenus combines CANopen networking with 100% digital control of brushless or brush motors in an off-line powered package that can operate from single or three-phase mains with continuous power output to 4 kW. Standard models use quad A/B digital encoders for feedback. Two other versions are available for use with resolvers or sin/cos analog encoders.

Xenus Plus sets new levels of performance, connectivity and flexibility. Both Ethernet based EtherCAT and CANopen versions are available. A wide range of absolute encoder interfaces are built in including EnDat, Hiperface and BiSS. High resolution A/D converters ensure optimal current loop performance. Both isolated and high-speed non-isolated I/O are provided. For safety critical applications, redundant power stage enable inputs can be employed.
